My Country and my People
The youth of india ,a mighty force to reform the country is like a rudderless ship
in the disturbed ocean.The then Prime minister of UK Sir Winston churchill was dead against
freedom to India and made the above statement in open.The Indians are time tested breed
that they are highly intelligent ,hard working,and very loyal to their superiors.
But in the field of Leadership qualities,one has to agree with Mr.Churchill as
these 73 years of independence proved.
A few Indians who would have emerged as world leaders were either died early or
eliminated by their political rivals.
Kamaraj was a leader of very high calibre,but could not communicate in world forum.
And he was helpless in amongst the political crocodiles.When he lost the Sathur
constituency,the then chief Minister said,"Congress can be defeated,but Kamaraj
can not loose.Kamaraj's defeat was the defeat of honesty and integrity of Tamilnadu
and biggest shame on the elite educated youth of tamilnadu.
Leadership in dictatorship has got no checkpost as every individual is afraid of his life .
The German Army was under the feet of Adolf Hitler during second world war .Great commanders
like Rommel was forced to take poison or face court marshal on a charge of treason.
Great lesders like Martin Luther king were eliminated early.
What happens in Democracy ? Governing the country by majority of people's mendate.
But who emerge as leader in Democracy.?Right from Himalayaas to cape comerin in
North -South,and from Rajasthan to Arunachal in west- East along the lenth and
breadth of this country can anybody name a Patriotic,capable Leader.
A person like Mujubur Rahman who led to the liberation of his country ,and who
dreamt "Sonar Bangla "was killed by his own people.
The court cases against our political leaders proove that Churchill 's statement is correct.
We do have very much devoted selfless citizens spending their energy and resources for
the welfare of the people.But,who has to recognise this and give them wider power.
Power definetly makes people corrupt.So when you empower a patriotic with wider
resposibility then he is forced to be your slave and looses his self thinking.

that cannot be neglected for the nation's development.
Even the richest people who earn profits by fair means are more concerned about
their kith and kin arround and amaze wealth for future generations.
The judiciery looks towards the govenment about what judgement is to be given.when the
judges act according to law and their concience,they are thrown out of public grace.
In these circumstances ,I call upon the youth of this country to come forward to help a
future India where leadres will emerge with patriotic spirit and govern their region
with selfless service. Aspiring politicians should undergo merit examinations and
make a declaration that they can be removed in the same way as they are elected.
