Col. Ganesan on his final selection as leader and station commander of Indias Antarctic research station Dakshin Gangotri went to his native place and took a handful of mother Earth and sprinkled this soil around Dakshin Gangotri on reaching Antarctica. After completion of his duty (480 days) he took few boulders weighing approx. 1 Ton each which were under ice cap of 5000 metres and brought to India. These rocks are 50 million years old and Ganesan established Inspirational Parks at different places. This book in Tamil titled as Kal sollum Kadhai tell about their journey.
